To make a new passport, passport renewal, re-issue lost & damaged passport, police clearance certificate you have to submit the online passport application form on this mPassport Seva Apps and pay the passport fee online after submission. After this, you will have to print the ARN receipt and go to Passport Seva Kendra to process your application.
How to apply using mPassport Seva App
Passport Application Form Submission Steps
Step 1 Download the mPassport Seva App your Mobile.
Step 2 Open the app.
Step 3. Click here to “New User Registration”
Step 4. Login to the mPassport Seva App with the registered Login Id.
Step 5. Click “Apply for Fresh Passport/Renewal & Re-issue/PCC” link.
Step 6. Type of Application “Apply for Normal/Tatkaal Mode” link
Step 7. Fill in the required details in the form and submit.
Step 8. Click the “Pay and Schedule Appointment” link on the “View Saved/Submitted Applications” screen to schedule an appointment.
Online Payment has been made mandatory for booking appointments at all Passport Seva Kendras/Passport Offices. Online Payment can be made using any one of the following modes:
- Credit/Debit Card (MasterCard and Visa)
- Internet Banking (State Bank of India (SBI) and Associate Banks and Other Banks)
- SBI Bank Challan
Step 9. Click the “Print Application Receipt” link to print the application receipt containing Application Reference Number (ARN)/Appointment Number.
Step 10. Visit the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/Regional Passport Office (RPO) where appointment has been booked, along with original documents.
On successful completion of payment, you will receive confirmation of appointment and an appointment number. An SMS with details will also be sent. Print a copy of the application receipt. All PSKs now also accept SMS for proof of appointment.

Note: Only emergency/medical cases and preapproved categories may visit Passport Seva Kendra without appointment. Service will be provided at the discretion of Passport Seva Kendra in-charge/Passport Officer.
In case of minor applicants (below 4 years of age), carry the recent passport size photograph (4.5 X 3.5 cm) with white background.
Resubmission of application form is required, in case the applicant does not visit the Passport Seva Kendra within 90 days from the online form submission.
